           The Red Chair

Love. Fear.

What do we really know about a person? Our friends? Our clients? Ourselves?

Psychotherapist Grace Simms thinks she knows her strengths and weakness. She relies on her professional prowess for success—until college crush Jess Bartell arrives in Sacramento.

Jess battles wits with police Sergeant Garret Weston when Grace finds herself being stalked. Who is skulking in the dark? Calling in the middle of the night?

Sergeant Weston suggests Grace get a dog, but when stalking turns to murder, it’s Weston who goes sniffing around Grace’s clients, forcing her into a decision: defend her code of ethics or catch a killer?

            The Grey Door

When Grace Simms is rendered helpless by a lunatic stalker, Police Sergeant Garret Weston intervenes, and Grace begins to love. But a cruel twist of fate takes her down the rabbit hole, and destiny prevails.

The young psychotherapist’s life in shambles, Grace seeks the help of her psychiatrist and mentor, Dr. Meltz. A killer is on the loose, and she trusts no one. Her heart shattered, she bids love farewell. In session, Grace digs deep only to be haunted by disturbing dreams and childhood memories. It seems everyone has a secret. Whom can she trust?

And then there’s Jess Bartell, the college crush Grace thought she loved and thought she knew. He’s keeping the biggest secret of all, until a new guy moves in on his territory and rallies for Grace’s heart. Then suddenly the competition becomes stiffer than Jess ever imagined.

The Black Dress

With Paul Fortier hot on Jess Bartell’s trail, Jess makes a decision to change his life forever. With a new lady in his life, Jess has a plan.

Paul, determined to keep Grace safe from Jess, calls in more favors from his military past.
When his pursuit dead-ends during a train wreck in South America, Paul imagines his troubles are over. Will an autopsy burst his bubble?

Grace Simms begins to breathe easily, believing Jess Bartell is out of the picture for good until she picks up a call from an unlisted number and her terror resumes. In her frantic state, she turns to Paul only to find he’s been keeping a secret he can no longer deny.

Can lies and betrayal lead to a happy ending? Grace’s psychic client begs to differ.

What People are saying about "The Red Chair":

If you're looking for a taut, well-written thriller--this is it. The tension begins early and grows and grows. Danna Wilberg has woven a complex mystery full of compelling characters who are as real as your next door neighbors . . . with one exception: one (or more) of them is stalker/murderer. You'll find yourself wondering "is this the one?" Chances are, you won't guess who it is....Kirk Colvin

This book has hidden powers. From early on in the book I wondered if this was actually a great American novel, and not just a formula-one romance-mystery genre product to feed the hungry (reader). I'm a picky reader, and though I've been known to read a "cozy mystery" (this is not one of those), or a bloody horror story, I get tired of them real quick. Wilberg is different. She can write her head off, and with what I'd call alchemical results. I swear I had a soul transformation when I had finished it, and that is what every novelist hopes to do....Barbara Y'barra
